Tool toggles and descriptions

Every tool on a connector has its own switch and a description your assistant reads.

Switches

Open a connector's Apps tab and expand an app to see each tool, tagged read, write or send. A tool that is off does not exist on the endpoint at all: your assistant cannot see it or call it.

Anything that is not a read counts as a write. New apps start with their reads on and everything else off.

Descriptions

Your assistant picks tools by their descriptions. Edit a tool's description (up to 1,024 characters) to add context, such as which store or account it covers. Clear it to go back to the default.
