Add it to your assistant

Each connector has one private address. Paste it into your assistant once; apps and tools you change later show up without touching it again.

Every connector answers on two addresses that reach the same tools: one ending in /mcp (streamable HTTP) and one ending in /sse (server-sent events). Use whichever your assistant's settings ask for.

Claude

  1. Open Settings, then Connectors.
  2. Choose Add custom connector, name it after the client and paste the address.
  3. Start a new chat. Claude loads a connector's tools when a chat starts, so new or changed tools appear in new chats.

Other assistants

ChatGPT, Perplexity, Copilot, Gemini, Cursor and other MCP clients have a similar "custom connector", "remote MCP server" or "MCP server URL" setting. Paste the same address there.

Keep the address secret. It works like a password: anyone who has it can use the tools switched on for that connector. It is shown in full only once, when you create the connector or make a new endpoint. If it leaks or you lose it, make a new endpoint in the connector's Settings: the old address stops working at once, and you paste the new one into your assistant.
