memory
The memory graph
Memory gives each connector a long-term notebook about its client: entities, the links between them, and timestamped facts.
Turn it on
Open the connector's Memory tab and choose Turn on memory. Your assistant can then search memory with memory_search and read one entity in full with memory_get.
Saving is a write, so it starts off. Your assistant saves facts with memory_save only when both the saving switch on the Memory tab and the memory_save tool are on. memory_forget deletes for good and starts off too.
What it holds
- Entities of seven types: client, person, product, campaign, policy, system and channel.
- Links between entities, such as a person who owns a campaign.
- Facts about an entity, each with the date it became true and whether your assistant saved it or you added it.
Each connector's memory is its own: nothing crosses to another connector or account. Memory tools count toward the connector's footprint, even while saving is off.
