MCP details

For the curious, and for anyone wiring up an assistant by hand.

• Each connector is a remote MCP server at https://claudemcp.techtrack.ai/c/<connector address>/mcp (streamable HTTP) and .../sse (server-sent events). The address itself is the credential: no extra header is needed.
• Messages are JSON-RPC 2.0. tools/list returns the tools switched on for that connector, and tools/call runs one.
• Tool names are stable action ids such as klaviyo_list_campaigns.
• Two built-in tools are always there: list_my_access lists what the connector can reach, and get_client_info returns the connector's name and description.
• Rate limits, read-only refusals and provider errors come back as tool results marked as errors, with a plain sentence your assistant can pass on. A write waiting for approval comes back as a normal result that says it was queued.

Assistants usually load the tool list once per chat. Start a new chat after you change tools.
